Notary Logging into session Notary signing Remote notary session

What is RIN?

Remote Ink-Signed Notarization (RIN) allows documents to be notarized remotely using traditional pen-and-paper
signatures, leveraging live two-way audiovisual communication technology. Unlike traditional notarizations that
require the signer to physically appear before the notary, RIN enables the signer to appear virtually via secure
videoconferencing technology while still using wet-ink signatures.

As a licensed Notary Public in Alabama, I provide convenient and secure RIN, allowing you to get your documents
notarized from the comfort of your own environment.

How Does RIN Work in Alabama?

The process of performing a RIN involves the following steps:

Schedule the Appointment: Navigate to the Schedule Service page to reserve a session at your convenience.
You will receive a booking confirmation via Google.

Exchange of Documents Before Notarization (choose one method below):

A. Send the unsigned paper document(s) via email to Notary@MomanyiConsulting.com.

B. Upload the document(s) during the scheduled session.

C. Upload the document(s) to the notes section of the booking confirmation before the meeting.

Identity Verification via Videoconferencing: At the appointment, you and the notary will connect using
secure, two-way audiovisual technology. You must present two forms of government-issued ID, one containing
your photo and signature.

Signing the Document: You will sign the document using a wet-ink signature while it is witnessed remotely
by the notary via video call. You will be asked to confirm that you are signing freely, voluntarily, and with
clear mental capacity.

Completing the Notarization: After signing, you will send the signed document electronically.
Once received, the notary will complete the certification with a wet-ink signature and stamp.

Returning the Document: The completed notarized document will be returned to you electronically.
Embossing is available, and hard copies can be mailed for an additional fee.

Recording the Notarization: Each remote notarization session is securely recorded to preserve
the record of the event.
